The Government of India should revoke the Temporary MOU signed between India and the UNHCR.
The UNHCR in India operation is using weak Refugee Status Determination Process to grant Refugee Status to the Refugees.
I am more worried about Rohingya and Bangladeshi Illegal immigrants. Many Bangladeshi have been granted Refugee Status by the Incompetent UNHCR Staff members. Rohingya and Bangladeshi flock together in disguise.
UNHCR India have no expertise in Identification of Rohingya from Bangladeshi.
UNHCR India is also involved in sharing fudged data with the Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of External Affairs of India
It’s a high time that Government of India should initiate its own Asylum determination Process.
